ASSIGNMENT
Transition the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational (MJCI) from the Bahamas to Las Vegas as a catalyst for the launch of ARIA Resort while delivering significant contributions to Make-A-Wish and other key philanthropic causes.
SOLUTION
JPSE created the inaugural MJCI in 2001 and ran the annual tournament throughout its 14-year history. Under JPSE’s direction, the MJCI was the first ever event held at the ultra-exclusive Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nevada. JPSE provided turnkey management services including celebrity recruitment, entertainment, hospitality management, tournament operations, venue coordination, security, etc. The four-day tournament has been widely acknowledged as a best-in-class event showcasing more than 40 of the greatest names in sports and entertainment each year.
